An extremely exciting week for all of us here at SmartyPig Australia, not only winning a Cannex award for innovation, but also scoring a mention on Channel 7′s Sunrise show!

Cannex said of the award that:

“Fifty finalists were selected from the hundreds of products and services introduced by banks and insurance companies in the last 12 months. This short list of products was then researched, compared and rated with our usual thoroughness to determine eventual winners of CANSTAR CANNEX Innovation Excellence Awards across different categories.”

After all, SmartyPig acts as a type of social network where, if you make your savings goals public, friends and family can help by ‘chipping in’ to get you closer to your target. You can also add your personalised SmartyPig widget to your Facebook page, or even your blog or website. (But we’re sure you knew that already!)

We’ve been thrilled with all the support we’ve received from existing customers, happy to see us getting some recognition for our signature simple, smart savings now we’ve made it to Australia.
